Our members when asked, provide first aid service to other motorcycle clubs at their events, as well as conducting
first aid seminars/lectures, CPR classes and Motorcycle Injury Management (MIM) seminars. Nationally, the Knights of Life have presented seminars at the Americade East (Lake George, NY) and West (Estes Park, Colorado). On the local scene, our members teach CPR classes to local clubs, March of Dimes Walk-a-thon and other events. The Knights also assist in the training of emergency medical personnel in the proper technique of helmet removal. These volunteer public service activities are in addition to our main goal of promoting a positive image of motorcycling and motorcycling safety and just having fun.One of the many benefits of joining this organization is that you will never have to ride alone. Many of our members work odd schedules (an occupational hazard of the medical services). Rides are planned at various times, making mid-week sometimes just as busy as weekends.
Our club is not all work and no play. We have social functions throughout the year. Barbecues, camping trips, breakfast-lunch
and dinner runs, pool parties, and of course, these are all family outings. Some members just get together for no specific reason except to ride and enjoy each others company. Some members travel and tour. Highlighted trips over the years have included Canada, Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Connecticut, Ohio, California, Oregon and the ocean view tour of the Pacific Northwest.
